Your aisle entrance is one of the most unforgettable moments of your wedding day, so I'd be delighted to learn a song that's special to you if it's not already in my repertoire.One custom ceremony song is included with every wedding booking, provided I have plenty of notice to prepare it to the highest standard.Your options include:Solo – I can perform your chosen song live with a beautiful, professional acoustic backing track, creating an elegant and emotional atmosphere.SuperDuo – This is where we can get really creative! We can take almost any song and transform it into a bespoke acoustic arrangement with live vocals and guitar. Some of the most unexpected choices become the most magical when they're slowed down and stripped back.Whether you've always imagined walking down the aisle to a timeless classic, an indie favourite or even a modern pop anthem, we'll create a performance that feels personal, meaningful and completely unique to you.

Will  you learn our first dance song?

Absolutely! Your first dance is one of the highlights of your wedding day, so I'd be delighted to learn a special song that's meaningful to you.How I perform it depends on the entertainment you've booked:Solo – Your first dance can be performed to a beautiful stripped-back acoustic backing track or to the original recorded arrangement, depending on the atmosphere you'd like to create.SuperDuo – Choose between an intimate live acoustic guitar arrangement or a performance to the original recorded version of your chosen song.SuperBand – We can perform your first dance as a romantic, stripped-back live arrangement before building into the full band, or recreate it as a full-band performance from the very first note. The choice is entirely yours.Whether you're dreaming of something beautifully intimate or a show-stopping live performance, I'll work with you to create a first dance that feels uniquely yours.

Can you perform outdoors?

Absolutely! I love outdoor weddings and am always happy to perform outside. There are just two things I need to consider: power and the weather.Our 6-piece band requires a minimum of two standard 13-amp power sockets close to the performance area, while solo and duo performances only require one standard 13-amp socket. Most wedding venues already provide this, and I'm always happy to liaise with your venue beforehand.If mains power isn't available, don't worry. I can provide professional battery power and generator solutions capable of running anything from a solo performance to the full band (subject to the length of the performance).As the instruments and sound equipment are electrical, I'll also need a stable, covered performance area to protect both the musicians and equipment from rain or damp conditions. If wet weather is forecast, suitable shelter is essential.And finally, if your outdoor celebration is taking place on a cooler day or into the evening, a little heating is always appreciated by the band—it helps us keep fingers warm and the performance at its best!

Do you provide your own PA system?

Yes. I provide a professional, high-quality PA system, suitable for your ceremony, drinks reception and evening reception. For our full 6-piece band, I also provide a dedicated sound engineer who is with us throughout the evening. They use professional, concert-quality sound equipment, manage our lighting rig, and continuously monitor the sound throughout the night, ensuring the perfect balance on and off the dance floor. This means every guest enjoys outstanding sound quality from the first dance to the final song, leaving us free to focus on delivering an unforgettable performance.

How long do you perform for?

This depends on the package you choose. I offer music for your ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening celebrations. Whether you're looking for a single performance or all-day entertainment, I can create a package to suit your plans.

How far do you travel?

Although I'm based in Oxfordshire, I regularly perform throughout Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, the Cotswolds and across the South of England. If your wedding is a little further afield or even abroad, just get in touch for a personalised quote.

Question 8

Are you insured & PAT tested?

Accepted Answer

Yes. I hold full Public Liability Insurance, and all of my professional equipment is regularly maintained and safety checked for complete peace of mind.Many venues do request PAT-tested equipment, and I'm happy to provide up-to-date PAT certificates if required. If your venue has any technical requirements, I'll happily liaise with them directly.

Can you provide music between live sets?

Yes. I provide carefully selected background music between live performances, so there's never any silence. During the evening, I can keep the atmosphere going with playlist music right up until the band or DJ starts, or until the end of my performance.

Can we choose the songs you perform?

Absolutely! I have a huge repertoire of songs spanning different decades and genres, so you'll have plenty to choose from. You're welcome to let me know your favourites, request special songs and tell me if there are any you'd rather I avoid.That said, after many years of performing at weddings and events, I also know what works in the moment. I'll read the room, respond to your guests and draw from my experience to create the right mix of songs — particularly when it comes to getting everyone up and dancing!The result is a soundtrack that's personal to you, while still keeping the atmosphere and dancefloor exactly where you want them.
